Stress Reduction

Well, my evaluation for the school year is over so I'm not stressing about that anymore. So this weekend, I spent a little more time creating. These are the LOs that I came up with. (A few I made before, but I didn't have time to post them.)

Oh MY

I have always told myself that I would not be a bad blogger! But....alas! Look as what I have become. Since school has started, I have been testing, testing, testing and now my two week window for observation has arrived and I still have testing to do!

I want to do a quick catch up.

I went to the Crrafty Scrappers wonderful "Crop for the Cure" this year the theme was "Cook for the Cure" It was wonderful! The give aways were all about cooking. We had to make cute little name tags. Alas I won none of the give aways....but unbeknownst to me that sly little Sherri, who won the grand prize a "Kitchen Aide Mixer" put it in my car because she doesn't cook. It was discovered 40 miles after I left! Is she not the sweetest thing! Here are some picts

The last picture is the front cover of the peek-a-boo book that I made for the boys! It is going to house all of their Halloween pictures. I just loved the K& Co papers and elements. It was a LO of the day over at SCRAPBOOK CHALET! I have to tell you that I had the best time over at the chalet this summer. The girls over there are so wonderful. They always comment on the gallery and give wonderful advice and are truly helpful! The contests and challenges are so fun! It is a great place for digi and paper scrappers to hang out!

I have also been doing some LO for my designers Kris Myers and Andrea Gold.

Andrea has some awesome new Template kits over at http://www.goditalscrapbooking.com/ You should check it out here.

Kris has a new store at http://www.plaindigitalwrapper.com/. She has a cute little kit called "Fairy Dust." It can be used for both Guys and Dolls. Here are some ideas that I had:

This is my name tag for the "Crop for the Cure"

This is my guys with their "Who's Your Daddy" shirts from the Star Wars Exhibit.

You so don't want to miss her new kit that is coming out soon. "Wild BOYS!" I already have it and I'm starting to work! There are so many elements, I don't know where to start!

Well- I do have more to share...But I will wait till later! Thanks for Looking!

Teachers

I've now scrapped everyones first day of school. Doing all of this scrapping made me start thinking of all of the teachers I have had over my school career. The teachers that I loved the best were the ones that made me feel special. Mrs. Suggs in fifth grade thought I was a wonderful actress and loaned me a copy of Gone with the Wind. She really encouraged me to read. She also bragged over my art work. Mr. Fulton in 8th grade thought I was a great actress. He also thought that I had wonderful ideas and wrote great stories. These two teachers had to be my favorites. I hope that when the three of my boys look back on their school career that they will have teachers that made them feel special too.

In a Galaxy Not So Far Away

We just got home from spending 6 hours at The Fort Worth Museum of Natural Science and History's STAR WARS exhibit! It was amazing. I took around 250 pictures. Luke had the most fun. We did everything. We programed robots, rode in land speeders, built communities, listened to all of the interviews on our little head sets and looked at every single little thing! Luke was in hog heaven! He really feels like like Star Wars was made just for him! Sam was tired after about two hours. Clay really stepped up and took charge of Sam so that I could share this wonderful time with Luke. It was a happy day!

Cody

Well Cody is a senior. So, I am hoping to have some more LOs of him this year. Lately he is driving me crazy, but I love him anyway. The first LO is our first day of school. We live in Fort Worth, bust since I teach in another town, I take the boys to my school district. So we wake up really early. Cody's school starts at 7:00 so when I drop him off it is DARK!

This LO actually happened first. Cody got his braces off on the 21st. Since I was at an inservice, he came by the inservice to show me his teeth. Isn't that smile beautiful?!!!! He can be so sweet. I did this LO for the sketch challenge over at www.gettinsketchy.blogspot.com. I used Weeds and Wildflower "Believe in Yourself" kit. I may use that kit for all of Cody's Senior year.

I Love that Pout

I just had to grab my camera one day when Sam was pouting. His funny faces, make me laugh! This is my scraplift for the unpubbed challenge. Even though I have already been their "famer," I still love their challenges.
