Thank Goodness Doctors Don't Know Everything
Today my Granny had surgery to remove the cancer that was found in her stomach. The whole thing was so strange. She had an episode in February and was rushed to the hospital. She thought she was going to have a heart attack. Long story short.....no heart attack and when we asked about gallbladder we were told it was okay. The doctor really didn't know what was wrong but sent her to the gastro, who found the cancer....Skip to today....During surgery to remove this cancer that was just in the beginning stages, the surgeon found that the gallbladder had to go. So chances are that was the problem all along. But, if the doctor had known what the problem was to begin with, the cancer never would have been found. So I guess I am really glad that the ER doc didn't know what was going on.
